Back from the Great War

Confusion

my original plan was to go to grad school..i had an issue with ku regarding the scholarship, they told me my thesis was controversial and they would only give me a scholarship if i changed my topic so i said SCREW IT..my dad can finance my education but by then i had missed all my application deadlines and so i decided to work..when i started this job i had no idea i was going to love it this much so NOW i don’t want to leave..well not just yet.

i had a little chat with my boss and she said that if i stay on for 2 more years, they would pay for grad school and i would have a job waiting for me when i come back..which is GREAT but..that means i have to wait 2 more years and i don’t know why but something just doesn’t feel right i want to do it NOW..

the confusion lies in my personal life, i have too much going on and i need to make a decision by jan, i know it seems like a long time but i take forever to make a decision..this decision MAY prevent my grad school and grad school may prevent this decision..i can’t have both but i want my job, grad school and this!

my sister is pregnant and we’re trying to come up with names for the baby..we don’t know if its a boy or a girl so all suggestions are welcome..the boy will probably be named yousef though so the concern is a girl’s name..and i want something that has a meaning! my sister wants an ethnic name so here are MY suggestion:

• Aryana – Persian name for beautiful eastern girl
• Ara – Persian name for decoration, Arabic name for rain
• Aria – Hebrew name meaning lioness, Italian name for a solo performed by the lead character in an opera
• Rayan – Persian name for fragrant/sweet herb, Arabic name for the door of heaven that opens in the month of Ramadan
• Aaarya – Indian name for a line of prayer from Sanskrit, Arabic name for noble woman
• Almira – Spanish name for princess
• Dima – Arabic name for rain, Russian name for earth mother
• Dara – Hebrew name for mother of pearl, Persian name for rich

i realized eny wayed a7ebny..call me a narcissist or whatever bas kaify i love me..mama kela etgooly eny “narjeseya” which makes me sound like an evil cat doesn’t it ? but she always says it laughing cause i apparently remind her of her mom..yadety alla yer7amha kanat ma3roofa eb jamalha (i did not inherit her looks though) o she used to love staring at herself in the mirror (which i do wayed )..anyway back to me loving me..ana maghroora men another angle..i do not i repeat DO NOT think i’m beautiful or anything so ana mo shayfa nafsy based on looks but based on personality and i’ll give myself that: my personality kicks ass

no seriously when i think of it every single guy who has had a crush on me or confessed his love for me was attracted to my brains and personality and not necessarily my looks, my looks are always 2nd (i kinda sometimes maybe wish that ppl liked me solely on my “good” looks )

so needless to say when i got this e-mail from a co-worker who is leaving us soon it kinda woke my “i love me” switch:
