i’m REALLY busy today just wanted to say that YAAAAY 7asan’s back! i’m keeping an attendance sheet for him during his time back so u need to help me keep him in check :P

  • 7:40 2 brown rusks w/labneh
  • 11:00 2 spoons cocoa krispies no milk (BLEKH)
  • 5:45 mulookheya w/white rice

Fri 23/05/08

  • 9:30 choco chip pancakes
  • 12:30 2 mishmishas
  • 2:00 she3reya rice
  • 9:00 2 pieces shish tawouk, a bowl of lentil soup

Sat 24/05/08

food mania:

  • 3:15 rice w/marag la7am o bo6a6
  • 9:30 spaghetti w/tomato sauce, i also had 3 bites men el chicken noodles and one spoon from 7asan’s fav tuna mayo

Stroking Egos

why is the new person constantly stroking everyone’s ego? when i first started i had a few “enemies” i’m in a position “above” ppl who have been here longer and so my 1st week was..lets just say interesting..ppl were talking about how its not fair that they have been here for 3 years and i just come in and got where i am (mind u i’m not anyone’s boss or anything) i just have a “title” and my own office..THAT’S IT..i don’t see the intimidation in it…anyway, one day my boss leans in and says something to me b4 a meeting (but she was deliberately loud so that every1 in the room heard) and this is what she said “listen, i want you to know that a lot of ppl are going to be jealous because 6 months ago no1 knew u here and now ur sitting here at this table with all of us..u earned it and u have every right to be here so don’t let anyone get to u”

ever since then my “enemies” have been NICE to me and i find myself surrounded with pplwho come to me with their complaints..i do this but no1 notices and i do that but no1 appreciates and i find myself constantly reminding them that they’re doing a good job and that we appreciate having them and all that nice stuff..but why meee? i’m the new kid, I’M the one who needs to be reaffirmed..i’m always scared that i’m not doing what i’m supposed to be doing and i get anxious about my work and i get scared too, who’s gona stroke MY ego? :P

  • 8:20 1 brown rusk w/labneh + plus 1 green apple
  • 3:20 johnny rockets original burger no onion no relish, 4 onion rings (i don’t eat the onion i just eat the crumbs, i KNOW i’m horrible) and shared fries
  • 9:45 a large bowl of salad
  • 10:20 1 kit kat stick

i know i know i was BAD..sorry tummy :(

  • 9:12 2 brown rusks w/labneh
  • 11:31 1 green apple
  • 4:00 pop corn shrimp (appetizer) from prime and toast..shared :p and watermelon juice
  • 10:00 veal scallopini, 2 kubbas, fries

a few set backs on the 2nd day but i’m trying..baby steps :P

 

i had half a green apple this morning i’m gona go ahead and consider that a breakfast

i started a food diary but since i was keeping it to myself the food intake was appalling so i decided to start posting my food diary..maybe the thought of ppl reading what i put into my body will help me be good to it :P

  • 7:30 1 brown rusk w/labneh and a green apple
  • 11:30 1 green apple
  • 12:30 2 brown rusks w/labneh
  • 2:40 KDD sandwich ice cream
  • 4:32 a bowl of lettuce w/olive oil, lemon and salt
  • 7:05 white rice w/marag la7am o bo6a6, well technically marag bo6a6 since i didn’t touch the meat :P

so i’m not off to a good start i’m hoping to be better 2day
