Mama Oo Baba

so i’ve come to realize that my parents are just amazing! they’re freakin cool and strange and i like it..ok they can get on my nerves sometimes but they’re worth it therefore, i have decided to allocate posts featuring Mama o Baba..

Baba

Incident 1:

I was out with Mama o we were bel sal7eya, my cousin’s wedding was in a week and i decided to make a stop at al-arbash to check out an earring..while there i saw a pair of GORGEOUS diamond earrings worth 20,000 KD..i knew baba would say no but i thought i would give it a shot so i sent him the following:

Me “eshkether et7ebny?”

Baba “50 fils only”

apparently he knew i was @ al-arbash

Incident 2:

Baba has this couple he has been friends with for over 16 years, a few years ago the wife was diagnosed with cancer and she was having surgery to have a tumor removed…baba flew to the US for the surgery and flew back to q8 the next day..isn’t he the cutest thing??

Incident 3:

we were all sitting together last night and baba was telling us about this conference he just attended in qatar…while there, he ran into 3 women who used to work for him but he didn’t recognize them cause they were all bargoo3s now (neqab, burga3 whatever u call it)..they came up to him said hi and my dad says (bear in mind that my dad is AGAINST bargoo3s):

“tara alla amar bel setr 7ag el mara ely taften mo entaw chel7an o 7alatkom 7ala o emgha6een wyoohkom 3ala sheno?”

HARSH MUCH?

ok my dad’s not mean i swear he’s not and if u heard him say it u’d be laughing..well at least the women started giggling at his comment
